Question : Problem: Outlook 2003 trying to connect
I have a remote user who is having the following issue. He logs into his laptop, connects to the network via VPN, starts outlook and outlook stays at trying to connect. He then calls me, I RDP to his pc I see that it is trying to connect. I can switch it to work offline, then shut down outlook, then open it back up and take work offline off and it connects almost immediately. When I walk the user through the same steps without me RDP to his computer, it doesn't work. I have tried recreating his outlook profile. I have tried detect and repair, i have tried a full reinstall of the software, all to no avail. Has anyone else ever seen this issue? Thanks
Answer : Problem: Outlook 2003 trying to connect
This turned out to be profile corruption. I was able to reset my users profile and it fixed the issue.
Thanks
