Question : Problem: Substitute for BREAK key

There is no BREAK/PAUSE key on a DELL STUDIO 1735 Laptop.  How doo you issue a CTRL-BREAK instruction without the Break key?

Answer : Problem: Substitute for BREAK key

Some keyboards have less keys because of their size and layout. You may have to use an external USB keyboard for your programming.

From Wikipedia: "Compact and notebook keyboards often have the Pause/Break key mapped to a function command: for example Ctrl+Fn+F11." - You can try that.

You can also try Ctrl+C. That creates a break in some programs/compliers.
