Equipment:
WS-C4506 --> 6 slot 4500 Chassis
WS-X4515 --> 4500 Supervisor IV
WS-X4148-RJ --> 45 port 10/100 rj-45 module
Problem:
This new equipment (4506) is running only IOS (native mode). My current catalyst 5000 is running in hybrid mode.
Question:
Can I run hybrid mode with the new 4506 equipment? If so, wheres the Cisco doc that explains how to upgrade from IOS to CatOS? Whats the advantage from converting from hybrid over to native? I like the CatOS because I just got comfortable with it. Is there a simple way to convert from a CatOS config to a IOS config. Any suggestions?
Last question, my catalyst 5000 has a route switch module.... what is the equlivent to this for the catalyst 4506?
