Question : Problem: BIOS ROM Checksum error (MSI MS-7005)
Hello experts,
I have a problem with MSI MS-7005 motherboard (651M-L/650GM-L Series).
As i understood the BIOS was erased by CIH virus. It erased the BIOS ROM and now i can't boot my system anymore. I found the article in MSI KB. It says i should prepare a MS-DOS bootable floppy disk and create an autoexec.bat that should automatically re-write the BIOS ROM into the motherboard. I made such disk but when i try to boot from this disk i got the following error (see the screenshot). The the floppy disk is bootable indeed - i checked it on another computer. But the damaged motherboard says it's not.
Please help!

R.I.P. = Rest In Peace
Soldered on chips can be replaced it's just more work.
It's easier to remove old chip, install an appropriate socket where it was, and put new chip in the socket.
