i am running windows xp.and use the usb for scanner ,printer etc. i bought a yamaha music keyboard and tryed to install the usb driver. it installs but has a problem-this is i believe because the hardware is not digitally signed . i,m using the driver on the yamaha cd provided and have checked the radio button to the left of ignore-install all files regardless of signature but no joy . have tryed reinstalling the latest driver but no joy. any ideas how to overcome this problem.

so you selected the first driver : http://www.yamaha.com/yamahavgn/ProductMedia/Drivers/USB_driver_w2k_xp_ver210.exe
and it still does not work? Then my suggestion is : try installing it on another usb port, or try installing it on another sytem, to check if it works at all. You followed the proper install procedure i presume? ie. first install software, THEN connect USB device.
If you cannot get it working, return it under warranty and have it replaced
