Question : Problem: What tape cartridge can I  use on DLT VS160

I just purchased a server with  an IBM tape drive DLT VS160.  It uses tape cartridges that can support 80/160 GB of data.  However, at this time we do not even have 80 GB of data on our system, and therefore would like to be able to use a smaller capacity tape cartridge with this tape drive?  Is that possible, or am I stuck with the 80/160 cartridges?

Almost all drives are backwards compatible. A VS160 drive should be able to use VS80 tapes (40/80) and maybe even DLT 4000, DLT 7000, DLT 8000 tapes.
