Question : Problem: 1 main OS 80gb IDE drive, 4 SATA 250gbs in RAID 10 not shoing up in Win2003 Server

I'm setting up a server at a small business with a Tyan S2885 MB (built in RAID controller) and an AMD Opteron CPU.  I've got a 80gb IDE drive setup as primary with OS loaded on it...Then I have 4 SATA WD 250gb drives setup in raid 10.  Main problem, once Server 2003 boots up, the main drive is showing up, but not the SATA raid'd logical drive.  When the computer boots, it shows the 4 WD drives and acknowledges that they are there, and I can hit f4 while booting to setup the raid array.  It shows the 4 physical drive, and then the 1 logical drive being created...so any suggestions? Thanks!

Answer : Problem: 1 main OS 80gb IDE drive, 4 SATA 250gbs in RAID 10 not shoing up in Win2003 Server

(1)  Did you install the RAID drivers for Win2003 ??

(2)  If so, did you initialize the "drive" (array) from within Win2003 Disk Management?
