Question : Problem: LJ 1200 print job stuck in queue after page prints.

Hi,

At one workstation, the HP LaserJet 1200 prints the first job as it usually does, but takes a very long (5-10 minutes) to print the next print job. The printer is hooked up as a local printer and uses the PS driver provided by HP. I cannot use the PCL driver because a software we use seems to create an error when that is used. The PCL driver does work smoothly for other applications.

When I check the printer queue, I still see the first print job at the top of the list. When I try to delete it, it will still take about 5-10 minutes to delete.

The printer was working fine before our enterprise software upgrade. But it did not seem to affect the other 1200s that we have. The one difference is that I have worked on this printer before because of the PCL and PS driver issue. The others we installed before I started working here. I am have never figured why PCL driver does not work because it does work for the other LJ1200 printers.
