Question : Problem: Personal Computer Laptop Never Powers Up

Hi Everyone:

       I am wanting to help a friend with a laptop problem.  Basically, the laptop does not power up at all even when the AC Adapter is plugged into it.   There is a blue light which comes on the AC Adapter, thus, indicating it is receiving current.  However, the laptop itself never powers.  

       With respect to technical specifications of this laptop, the information is as follows:  Personal Computer Model No. CN5560.

        If more information is needed, please feel free to let me know.  In the meantime, I look forward to hearing from everybody regarding this post.

All I can dig up is service manual, please see chapter 4 which almost instruct disassembly some basic but you will see most of major components that should be inspect there. When you get there, you will see all.
