Question : Problem: Error 41.2 on Laserjet 4m

when printing 41.2 error displays on the display panel and the printer must be turned off.  Does this every time I try to print.  Cause? and Possible solutions?

Hi Caidmon,

You should replace your scanner assy (=laser module), it contains that sensor, and it is most of the time NOT the sensor that is causing the problem but the laser itself. The sensor is locate at the side of the scanner assy and has a 3 or 4 pin connector.
