Question : Problem: Problem burning dvd image file with Mad dog 16x9 burner

I have a Mad dog 16x9 dvd burner I am trying to burn a image file with Nero 7.It starts burning to dvd and then the Nero 7 says write error, session fixation error, could not perform disc at once.I have made sure it has the latest firmware.I have used this drive to over burn cd's before if that would effect it? I have no idea. I am using win XP service pk 2. With Mach speed motherboard,Amd athlon 64x2 3800. 2gigs ram.  I also have a Optiarc (NEC i think) dvd burner hooked up as master It burns dvd images fine. I  have tried burning on both at the same time. But,still get error messages on mad dog 16x9 dvd burner. I have tried different dvd media with no luck. Any help is much appreciated!
