Answer : Problem: VHDCI and SCSI port

"... Can some one tell me the difference between scsi port and vhdci? ..." ==> There's NO difference.

VHDCI is simply a connector type (Very High Density Cable Interconnect).   It has nothing to do with speed => it's simply a much smaller 68-pin connector; designed to allow multiple SCSI connections on a single card.   Details here:  http://www.auditmypc.com/acronym/VHDCI.asp    Notice the relative sizes of the two connectors on this cable (one is a 68-pin VHDCI and one is a standard 68-pin SCSI connection):  http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat%5Fid=1312&sku=28293
