Question : Problem: Apple Mail 3.3 connecting to Exchange 2003
I have a MacBook and several other Apple Mac's running OS X 10.5.4 with mail 3.3. I can not get this configured to talk to the Exchange server i just get a message that "The Server error encountered was: The connection to the server "my mail server name" on port 443 timed out."
If I replace the mail server name with the IP address I get a message about the certificate mismatching, so Mail 3.3 is talking to the mail server in some way.
The Macs are on the same LAN as the mail server and on the same IP ranges, but still can not get it to work.
any suggestions?
