Question : Problem: Powerbook G4 17" speakers dead.

Powerbook 17" G4 speakers suddently died. No sound at all, no chime on startup, no sound through externals, sound selected internal speakers, no internal mic levels. Zapped PRAM of course no 2nd Chime. Sound works with USB I/O device but nothing on internal or external plug. Please help.

The diagnostics CD can be downloaded from Apple's Service Source website. All you need to do is find someone who has one and is happy to help!
