Question : Problem: ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS

My Add remove programs dialog box doesnt show anything. It doesnt have any programs. Is there any possible solution?

That is just an option.  It appears that you need to reformat your drive which would of course erase any local backup you have made so if you cannot get the data to another drive (perhaps borrow one from another PC temporarily - like the one you use to respond to us with) then maybe you can get your hands on PartitionMagic and make another partition (if you already have 2 or more partitions then skip that part).  Once you have 2 (or more) partitions you can copy your important documents as detailed earlier to the second partition and format the first one.  Then reinstall to the first partition and you are on your way.  In the future you may find that it is a good idea to have a second partition for your documents so that when your OS goes awry you can reformat without risking your documents.
