Question : Problem: Identify AP IP working with DCHP
Hi, I have a linksys AP WAP54G, I conneted it to a motorola cable modem, I want to know the AP IP address, I configured it with DHCP and the AP works perfectly, I can browse the internet with my laptop (I'm writing this question on it), but I don't know the IP address that the AP has. I need it to review the AP configuration because I want to add another laptop computer to the Mac address lit filter in the AP.
I have Angry IP Scanner, I scanned the network but the IP mask has a lot of nodes (255.255.192.0).
I want an utility or a way to identify the AP IP address, I can't connect the AP with the RJ45 cable because I configured the AP to use DHCP and receive its IP address from the provider.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance.
Answer : Problem: Identify AP IP working with DCHP
As I understand it, you already have a laptop connected to the AP using DHCP.
On the connected laptop, run ipconfig/all and look for the line with DHCP-server address.
