Question : Problem: Problem scanning to NAS device.

We are attempting to scan from the ScanFront220 to an Netgear ReadyNAS storage device. We were previously using these scanners to scan to a Windows 2003 Server without a problem, but when trying to scan to the NAS device it does not seem to accept the domain login. All of the login information has been checked and rechecked and is accurate. The error message displayed by the ScanFront is "Error 58: Specified server cannot perform the requested operation."

Answer : Problem: Problem scanning to NAS device.

It seems like some sort of permissions or security issue.  Do you have a domain and if so are both devices showing up in AD?  Can you go to the folder on the NAS where you are scanning files to and manually copy a file into the folder?
