My backup appears to be running ok. The verify doesnt start though and i get "NTBackup finished the backup with errors" BUT i do not get any errors in the actual backup log besides the above line. The result is the backup status is always failed. Tape device is an Exabyte VXA2

Backup ended at Wednesday, 8 August 2007 2:44 AM Backup Runner finished.
What could be causing this? I have updated to the latest firmware on the tape drive and also the Windows driver. I've also run the cleaning tape a stupid amount of times.
Any ideas?

Congratulations! This was really a tough one to figure out... and there would really have been no reason for me to even think that you might be plugging it into a RAID adapter because I had so much faith in you from the start! :-)
(I think that's almost like asking someone who is getting just a blank screen if they've plugged in the power cord).
Anyhow... glad you got it going!
