Question : Problem: logmein.com keeps shutting down in firefox
I'm running OSX 10.5.6 with the latest version of Firefox. I cannot get logmein to execute from my laptop with the following specs:
Model Name: PowerBook G4 12"
Model Identifier: PowerBook6,8
Processor Name: PowerPC G4 (1.5)
Processor Speed: 1.5 GHz
Number Of CPUs: 1
L2 Cache (per CPU): 512 KB
Memory: 1.25 GB
Bus Speed: 167 MHz
Boot ROM Version: 4.9.0f0
It lets me log in, and initiate communication with the remote computer, but every time it starts to load the screen, the browser quits in all modes except HTML. Is this a problem with Firefox or with the chip, or the memory? It quits in my Macmini as well, and the only way I can get the software to work on a Mac is to emulate XP on the Macmini and connect via explorer using java.
If anyone knows a setting that can be changed to get this to work, that would be most appreciated.
Answer : Problem: logmein.com keeps shutting down in firefox
Apparently there has been either a system update or a Firefox update that has solved the problem. The browser now loads the app without choking and dying. Thanks for the help!!
