Question : Problem: recovering raid5 configuration after CMOS battery failure
I had a Dell server give an error of a bad motherboard battery that needed replacing. The next day the server rebooted after doing automatic updates and it would not recognize the raid 5 configuration and would not boot. The battery has been replaced despite that a voltmeter verified that it was over 3VDC. How can I re-establish the raid configuration so that the system will boot again. I cannot afford to lose the data on the drives.

BIOS reset to defaults which generally means it's set to boot from on-board IDE or SATA hard drive controller.
- Need to set it to boot from RAID add-in card in the slot -or- from RAID controller if it's on-board.
