Question : Problem: HP Scanjet 5590 not appearing in HP Director

I have installed the software and then the scanner as usual for USB devices, however, when I load up HP director it only has an option to select online help, there are no options to scan or whatever. I can acquire images from other programs (such as paint) but not through director and the client needs/wants to be able to do it through director.

Any help is appreciated

If you Disable or Stop the WIA, you won't be able to SCAN AT ALL !!!!
