Question : Problem: How can I stop having to unlock the mouse and keyboard with control everytime I use Parallels.

I recently had to re-install win xp on a MacBook Pro that uses parallels.  Now, whenever the user goes to the pc side using Parallels desktop it makes her have to press control first.  So she essentially has two mouse pointers on the desktop and must unlock the mouse for mac in order to use the mac features.  It is not a big problem and works, but she said she never had to do this before.  She only had one mouse pointer on the desktop that controlled both screens.  Any ideas?

Well actually Parallels tools would be installed after you update to the most recent version. launch parallels desktop and have the auto updater check for a newer version. If it finds one download and install it using on screen prompts. http://www.askdavetaylor.com/how_do_i_install_parallels_tools_on_my_mac_os_x_intel_system.html
