Question : Problem: Outbound remote desktop software for Windows

Hey all,

I am looking for a program, or programs that I can load on a windows XP based system, that I can setup to auto-start with Windows, and make an outbound port establishment with either my desktop at work, or some other windows server. The scenario is this:

We have computers we send to individuals, that may not have a static IP or be able to configure inbound port rules for remote desktop. We want to send them a workstation, that they can plug into an internet connection, and once on the internet, we can either remote desktop to their machine for assistance, or remotely control for program management at that location.

Obviously as stated above, remote desktop will not work as you need inbound ports. I 'think' gotomypc.com will do this, but was looking for other options as well.

Thanks in advance!

The people who make Hamachi also make Logmein, which, is free, and awsome.
Simply install the client on your laptops under an account.
Then when ever those laptops are connected to the internet you can use logmein.com to remotely access them.
