Question : Problem: Laptop keeps crashing when moved. can't diagnose the problem

Hi, i have a Fujitsu Amilo Pro that's crashing and i can't figure out what it is that's causing it.

The laptop seems to work fine until i move it then the screen either goes completely blank or the screen freezes causing me to have to turn the laptop off then on again.

Sometimes it wont boot up at all.  The power lights come on but nothing happens, i then turn it off then back on again and it works but only if i don't move it or touch it too aggressively.

I've striped the laptop and re built it checking to see if there were any loose connections which there are not, I've ran all sorts of diagnostic  tools but nothing showed up, though every time i ran a CPU test it would crash.  Could i be looking at a CPU problem, and would this cause the system to crash or give me a blank screen when the laptop is moved?

Answer : Problem: Laptop keeps crashing when moved. can't diagnose the problem

It could be. Have you tried plugging in an external monitor? It sounds like there might be a problem with
a) the bulb for lighting the screen
b) the cabling between the gfx card and screen in the clamshell hinge
c) the graphics card

If it works fine moving around to an external monitor, check the above.
