hey guys, just a question about which tools you use/recommend for hard drive diagnostics. I'm looking for free versions mainly because i'll be scanning several hard drives in different machines rather than one machine.
Mainly looking for something which scans sector-by-sector from a bootable image or DOS prompt rather than a windows based data/FAT scanner...
Using memtest86 for ram tests after following someones advice, just hoping theres something free and as good for hard drives!
