Question : Problem: Macbook Pro Very Hot!

Dear All,

I've had my Macbook Pro for 6 months and it seems that it keeps getting very hot while i use it!
Also the charger block to is very hot!
Is this a fault or normal?

Can i get apple to service it?

Answer : Problem: Macbook Pro Very Hot!

Unfortunately this is considered "normal" with some MBPs, as well as many other laptops, I mean "notebooks" (they call them notebooks so customers don't actually place them on their laps, ouch.).  You can try getting a notebook "cooling pad" with a fan, or simply raising it off the desk to let airflow to the bottom.  If it's abnormally hot or could possibly cause a burn use iStatPro to detect the temperatures.  If they are very very high you should contact Apple care.
