Question : Problem: computer runs slow

One of my users' computer runs really slow.  Checked the task manager and there are a ton of apps running.  There are no windows or programs running.  I don't know which ones to delete or how to stop them from running when there's no human usage.  Here are the apps that are taking up a lot of usage:
avgscan.exe
avgrsx.exe
Trvscan.exe
explorer.exe
hpqgalry
PQV2iSvc.exe
svchost.exe

I'm pretty sure trvscan.exe is spyware.  I would remove that one first.
avgscan is AVG AntiVirus.  This should be ok.  It will slow down your computer when it is scanning your entire hard drive for viruses.  You can simply stop it from scanning your drive and schedule it for later.
hpqgalry is for your HP printer.  
PQV2iSvc is Ghost.
