Question : Problem: How to tell that /3GB switch worked? - Enterprise Server 2003

We've been advised by our software vendor to utilyze the /3GB switch on our application servers. Having never used this option before, I would like to know a way to verify that this switch had the intended effect on the OS.
Can you please offer up a method for me to tell that system memory has been halved?
