Question : Problem: Keyboard not responding
|

My keyboard stopped responding on my laptop. I plugged in a usb keyboard, reinstalled the operating system, and can't get either keyboard to respond. Any suggestions.

This is definitely a strange one. I think maybe your only option is to try clearing CMOS. I am trying to do some research for you, but our SonicWall is blocking most sites for me. Try a google search for your laptop and "clear CMOS". I found one link for a Toshiba Satellite Pro, and it mentions that most Toshiba models have the onboard battery under the keyboard. If you can find that little battery (should look like a watch battery) and remove it for about 60 seconds, it should clear your CMOS. This will reset BIOS to factory defaults.
