Question : Problem: Unable to use Client Push Installation to install SMS on clients

I have a brand new SMS server installed at a new site (single site setup).  I am unable to use the automatic client push installation feature to install SMS on my clients.  I've noticed when I try to push the installer to a client or collection, no .CCR file is created in the SMS\i386\inbox\ccr.box directory.  The ccm.log file does not show any indication that I even initiated the client install.  When I created the .ccr file manually and placed it in the CCR.BOX directory, it initiated a client install, but the client still shows up in SMS as Client = No and Assigned = No

I have already verified the following are correct:

-Client push installer is enabled for workstations and servers
-Client push installer account is set to an account that has both domain admin access and admin access on the clients.
-AD schema is extended and functioning properly (SMS server account has access to appropriate containers in AD)
-Management Point is set correctly

Clients were discovered using the Active Directory site discovery method.  A client that is installed manually at the workstation DOES successfully show up in SMS:  Client = yes, Assigned = yes.

any help?  thank you.

Answer : Problem: Unable to use Client Push Installation to install SMS on clients

I figured out this problem...  turns out I needed to add my subnet to the subnets container of Active Directory Sites and Services for my domain.  But now I have a new problem...  the clients appear to be installing correctly (information in the SMS console is showing up, I can lauch Remote tools, etc)... but in the console, all of the clients show up as Client=No and Assigned=No

Any tips for getting that to show up correctly?
