Question : Problem: wasadmin user account

is it mandatory to use wasadmin user account for the installation of Websphere Application Server V6.1 on Windows 2003?????

Answer : Problem: wasadmin user account

no.  You can use whatever account you want.

However, it is best if the account have the "appropriate" authorities, so I have only installed it using "administrator" privileged accounts.
