Processor: Intel Pentium 2.4 GHz Motherboard: Intel 845 GBV OS: Windows 2000 Professional Modem: Motorola SM56 Chipset Internal NIC: RealTek
I removed NIC and Modem from their respective PCI slots without uninstalling them before. I used to do this on my old PC (Intel Pentium MMX 200 MHz) with Windows 98 without any problems. But in this case my PC refuses to boot and gives the following error on Blue Screen Of Death:
STOP: xxxxxxxxx A driver has corrupted the memory management system PTEs. Address xxxxxxx base at xxxxxxxx, DataStamp xxxxxxxxxx - ntoskrnl.exe Beginning dump of physical memory
After this screen, nothing happens. Every time the message is not shown. It was displayed only once. I managed to start Windows once but even after that it suddenly shut down by itself.
Any quick help will be greatly appreciated.
