Question : Problem: my laptop internal dvd writer is rated 2x, the dvd media is rated 2x. why then can't i burn 2x without a problem?

if i burn at 1x, i successfully burn. at 2x, it burn well but when it gets to data verfication it does well until the very end. then the message is something about "point???"  (or some thing like that)

what can i do to burn at 2x? and workaround?  i am using nero. winxp home and 512 ram with 2.8 gb cpu.

i am thinking to tell the computer manufacturer (it is under warranty) to give me a better internal dvd writer

If you goto File>New, choose non-wizard view, and select DVD from the drop down and DVD Copy in the list.
