Question : Problem: Installation of HP MSL2024 Tape Autoloader

Hi,

I am trying to install an HP MSL2024 Tape autoloader with an Ultrium 3 - 960 SCSI Drive on my DL380G4 server running Windows Server 2003 - SP2, but had no success in seeing as an autoloader at this point.

Windows / ARCServe 11.1 - SP2, NTBackup etc all recognise the actual drive, but does not see it as an autoloader / tape changer. I believe that it should show under Device manager as a "Tape Changer" oposed to the bare drive which is showing up under "Tape Drives".

I have loaded the drivers from the HP website, and updated all firmware, but am still unable to get windows / any backup application recgonise it for what it is.

Any help on how to do this would be much appreciated.
