Question : Problem: Can not connect to shared printer on server

I have a new server running Windows 2003R2 service pack 2 and I have created a shared network plotter HP DesignJet800 connected through to the server through ethernet.I can plot from the server but I cannot connect any clients to the resource?I have verified the naming convention is correct the printer name is hpdesign800.I have no domain established on the server ,just a workgroup.

You said work group do all the users have an account on the server for to be able to access the prnter. You will need to have the same user account and password on the server as you do on the workstations.. In other words if you have Computer A is the server and computer B is the WKS. and on computer B the user name is John with password of Password. You will need to have a user by the name of John on computer A also with a password of Password. You will also need to make sure you give john access to the share and also to security.
