Question : Problem: How to delete a mobile device in exchange 2003
Here is the situation&
I have a user that had a blackjack, it was left at a restraint and stolen about three weeks ago. He called Cingularand got him a new one and he setup activesync etc.
I get a call from today telling me that he thinks whoever stole it got a new sim (supposedly the old one was disabled) and is using it. He says his contacts are disappearing and new ones he has never seen are appearing. It makes since, no matter what sim is used if the settings are still setup in activesync then this can happen.
My question is how do I disable that phone and not his new one in exchange, or is it even possible?
thanks

Hi,
ActiveSync Mobile Administration Web tool won't is not supported by Exchange SP1. You need to install SP2 first.
However, the easiest way is to ask the user to change his email password. This way the stealer won't get access to that user's account.
