Question : Problem: Can´t Backup SAP r/3, oracle on Windows Server 2003 64 bit using Brightstor ARCServe
|
|
Hello Guys I need to backup the 64 bit Oracle instance using ARCServe on windows Server 2k3. The Oracle Golden Platter is not visible.
I have heard the 64 bit SAP database can be backed up using BRTOOLS using the SAP R3 Oracle BACKINT Option, but I really donĀ“t know how to do it.
I will appreciate your help

Hi ojgarich,
oracle agent for windows does not support 64-bit version of oracle as of now. You can take a backup using brtools or backint and dump it to a location and backup the dump.
please refer to the following document on how to use backupint
