Question : Problem: Client had disk crash. They determined drive was not spinning

Client had disk crash. They determined drive was not spinning so the disassembled drive before calling us thinking the could fix the issue.

We are unable using our methods to see the drive. Our experience is that if the Drive has been unsealed a new set of issue are introduced.

Any recommendations on companie(s) that might be able to restore data

I'll be honest with you... Professional services to recover data from mechanically damaged Hard Drives can be quite costly..

Your best bet would be recovering data from a backup... But if that's not available there are multiple companies that can recover the data for you.

I've never personally used any of these companys, but one you may consider is On Track Data Recovery as I have heard good reviews from them.  http://www.ontrackdatarecovery.com/hard-drive-recovery/

To not sound biased, I'll attach a few other companys that do this aswell..
http://www.vantagetech.com/ - Another company that looks like they could resover from a broken HDD.

To be honest though, these solutions can become quite costly.
