Question : Problem: Flash Player plug in does not work with internet explorer

Here's my rundown so far I have the macromedia flash player installed. Java security is set to medium while active scripting is abled in my browser internet explorer 6. However I can use the player if I individually download flash files for example www.newgrounds.com but cannot watch streamless videos from sites like www.youtube.com and http://www.ea.com/redesign/games/pccd/home.jsp.

So far macromedia tells me my flash plugin works perfectly but when I go to these sites they tell me to go get it again yet it repeats what macromedia says

My computer is customized and assembled myself a year ago when I was in grade 10 and I still wish to find a better part time job than what I am doing washing dishes. I am secretly waiting to get into the university of Calgary's Schulich school of engineering.

Hmmm, strange. Well, the first thing I'd try would be to uninstall flash, reboot, go and download flash (using IE, if that's the browser in question) and install it, and see if it works then. Possibly after another reboot for good measure.

If that doesn't do it, it would be interesting to see if flash would work in any other browser (Firefox, Opera, whatever). Again, you might have to download it using that browser.
