Question : Problem: backup exec skip system files

Dear All,

I am using backup exec 10d. I don't have the save open files option of backup exec.
In the backup exec log I have files dhcp.mdb, j50.log, tmp.edb that hat has been skipped by the backup exec job.
Are these files important to backup for a disaster recovery plan???.

Answer : Problem: backup exec skip system files

Stoping and restarting DHCP server is good idea only in case that there isn't a single client which would try to obtain an IP address from server during the backup.
