Question : Problem: desktop reorganize after presentation projector

Hi, I am using  IBM T43, and I need do presentation (connect to projector) couple times a week. everytime when I finish presentation, I need re-organize my desktop icons. I think this is because when I use Fn+F7 to switch to presentation mode (XGA 1024*768) the resulation changes in my laptop. I am using 1400*1050 for my normal setting.

it is very bugging me to reorganize desktop icons everytime. can someone have solution about it.

Loosk like the driver does not support this, try something, power on the portable after connecting it to the projector and doing a Fn+F7 and then let it boot into windows rather than doing it the other way around and then see what happens.

Have you tried locking the desktop icons? Right click on desktop>Active Desktop >Lock Desktop Icons ?
