Question : Problem: Can the Linksys RV042 authenticate VPN users to AD?

I am looking at purchasing a Linksys RV042 for a remote site. Users would need to VPN into the device using the Windows Connection Wizard and authenticate using there AD domain accounts. I want to make sure the product is able to authenticate VPN users to active directory before making the purchase.

To the best of my knowledge no they will not authenticate to AD/RADIUS. I have about a dozen of these and just scanned through one as well as the manuals to make sure. Several of their newer units do, but the only one I have tried was the RVS4000. Very nice features but two of them frequently locked up on me even after firmware upgrades. You may want to consider a small Cisco like the ASA 5505.
