Question : Problem: iSCSI Network Connections
I have a Network Attached Storage device that is addressable via iSCSI. I am new to iSCSI. I am using the NAS device as offsite backup. Right now I have all of my servers backing up via one iSCSI connection established on one of the servers. Obviously, this server is getting pounded. I have available network cards on all my servers. I was wondering if it is possible for me to establish an iSCSI connection to the NAS device on each server via the available card so that the load is more balanced. Is can you only have one iSCSI link initiated for a given device...
Thanks in advance,
JK
Answer : Problem: iSCSI Network Connections
you can certainly initiate simultaneous/multiple connections, as these partitions can hold multiple read writes at one time.
thanks
