Question : Problem: How to communicate with an LCD projector through RS-232
In a classroom setup, I need to turn on and off an LCD projector from a console in front of the teacher. I thought about controlling it through the RS-232 control interface on the Projector but I do not have the software for the LCD and even if I did, I amlooking for a simple way yo turn it on and off not more. I got the codes to send to that projector from its technical manual:
Header: BE EF 03 06 00 CRC: 2A D3 then command: 01 00 00 60 00 00
How to send these bytes in a simple way to the serial port.
can I echo them in a batch file? if yes how and if not could you provide me with a solution?
Your help is highly appreciated.

For all the trouble rs232 would be, making the student who broke the remote pay for it would be a much simpler solution
