Question : Problem: blackberry contacts entered on phone not going to exchange
One of my users just switched to a new blackberry. after activating it on the BES he complained that not all of his contacts were on there. Come to find out that all the contacts he had been entering on his BB device somehow were not going into the exchange address book but some other location on the BB. Does this sound reasonable? So there are 1500 contacts on his new blackberry, 1500 on his outlook, but there are 1580 on the old blackberry. I don't think they are on the SIM card either because I think he is using the SIM from the old bb.
Can someone explain how this is possible and how to rectify the situation and get those 80 contacts into his exchange account?
Answer : Problem: blackberry contacts entered on phone not going to exchange
I think this may have happened because the sim card ran out of space to store the contacts details and start storing there information on the phone instead.
if he/she checks the old blackberry the other 80 contact may still be stored there
