Question : Problem: Need help with Iphone / Itouch development platform

I am looking to acquire a mac to do some development for an iphone / itouch applicaiton.  What kind of mac do I require.  Would a mac mini be sufficiant for this?  I am quite computer literate but have not used mac since 1986 so don't know much about the new models.

A Mac Mini would be fine.

All Macs come with the XCode developer tools which are the core development enviroment for OSX.

To develop for OSX, you'll then need to sign up for the iPhone Developer Program - http://developer.apple.com/iphone/program/ and download the iPhone SDK  - http://developer.apple.com/iphone/program/download.html

Just make sure it is an INTEL mac .. not an older PPC version.
