Question : Problem: Dynamic-to-static site to site vpn using a pix 515e firewall and cisco 837 adsl router

does cisco PIX firewall 515e support dynDNS? one of our offices does not have a static IP!

We have 2 sites . Head office with a pix 515e firewall ver 7 with a static ip on the outside interface .
I then have a cisco 837 adsl router with a dynamic ip address assigned from our service provider .
I am using dyndns on this router and it is working fine .

What I now need to do is build a site to site vpn between the 2 devices .
But It looks like when you configure the pix 515e , you have to enter a peer ip address .
I want to address the vpn from the pix side with a FQDN (dyndns)
Is it possible ???
What are my options ?
I am desperate .

Thanks

John

You can use 0.0.0.0 as the peer IP address...
Here's an example with PIX 6.x

I'll keep looking for an example with PIX 7.x
