Question : Problem: Blackberry Server
I have a client who just got a Blackberry Bold, and I am trying to hook her up to our Blackberry Server. The client reports that the phone synchronized successfully, and went through the entire initialization process. The client can also see the work Address Book, and work calendar. However, work email is not getting through to her. I tried sending a couple test emails and she is not getting them on her blackberry. I check on the Blackberry Server, and I see the last time the server had contact with the device was only minutes ago.
The client also says she is receiving her personal emails just fine, but not work emails.
Also, all other blackberry devices are working fine with the blackberry server. Any ideas where to point fingers, and where to look?
Answer : Problem: Blackberry Server
The next thing I would check is with the carrier about her data plan. I am thinking she has a data plan, but it is not set to work with BES. Give that a shot.
