Question : Problem: COMPUTER DOES NOT TURN ON.
My Computer won't turn on or start up but the CPU fan is running along with the power supply fan and
the voltages are ok measured at harddrive and on mobo. The 12 volts was a little low = 11.72 volts, all
the others including the cmos were in spec. When I power on the fans come on but there is no POST,
no BIOS screen, no beeps and no video. I already unpowered all the drives, removed RAM and ATI tuner card, none of it mattered. Is the processor or the mother board dead? It is only 1.5 years old!
Any help greatly appreciated,
Tony
Answer : Problem: COMPUTER DOES NOT TURN ON.
Since by removing all the components, you have pretty much narrowed it down to one thing...
Sorry my friend, your mobo is toast.
