Question : Problem: Powermac G4 Wont Boot
I have a PowerMac G4 MDD that is having boot-up issues. It chimes, the screen comes on, it displays the apple logo and the spinning progress signal, and then crashes out after a few seconds. I have reset the PMU, replaced the battery, and attempted to reset the MB according to Apple help files. I have also tried to boot into openfirmware by using command+option+o+f but it wont open. Any suggestions on what the problem might be or how to fix it?
Answer : Problem: Powermac G4 Wont Boot
It turned out to be a hard drive issue, and we fixed it using DiskWarrior to repair the disk.
